The AI4S High-Performance Computing Platform of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School is a strategic infrastructure for intelligent science and interdisciplinary research. Officially completed in 2025, it is open to the entire school. Adhering to the concept of "Computing Power Drives Innovation," the platform is committed to building a research engine integrating high-performance computing, intelligent algorithm optimization, and multidisciplinary collaborative R&D. It provides basic computing power support for innovations in artificial intelligence, scientific intelligence, and engineering technology at the Shenzhen Graduate School.
The platform is equipped with 5 high-performance servers featuring high-quality computing acceleration devices, offering 350 TFLOPS of general computing power and 12.5 PFLOPS of AI-specific computing power. It supports high-speed interconnection between servers and distributed parallel computing. Its high-performance storage system meets the demand for high-speed access to research data. The platform is configured with a computing resource scheduling system, enabling dynamic allocation of multi-task priorities and concurrent processing for multiple users. Users can efficiently submit computing tasks through a unified interface and receive full-process services ranging from basic computing power support to professional technical guidance.
Highlights of Core Infrastructure:The computer room is constructed in strict accordance with the national Class B design standards for data centers, covering a total area of 450 square meters. It deploys 4 sets of double-row cold-aisle intelligent micro-module systems, accommodating 90 standard cabinet units. The power supply system adopts a 500kVA UPS load and 2 groups of 12V200Ah battery packs. Through redundantly designed power supply links, UPS systems, and comprehensive wiring architecture, a dual-path power guarantee system is built to effectively avoid single-point failure risks, ensuring daily power supply stability and emergency power endurance during critical situations. The environmental monitoring system is equipped with the NetEco intelligent dynamic environment management system, which conducts 7×24-hour panoramic monitoring of temperature, humidity, power parameters, fire safety status, and other indicators, with real-time operation status displayed through a visual dashboard. A professional operation and maintenance team implements a three-level security mechanism, providing full-link protection from physical security and network defense to data encryption, thus offering solid guarantees for the stable operation of the platform and the security of research data.
The platform supports research directions including: artificial intelligence and deep learning algorithm development, scientific intelligent computing and multi-physics field simulation, big data analysis, and interdisciplinary modeling. In the future, the platform will continue to expand its construction, actively cooperate with industry partners, deepen industry-academia-research technology collaboration, continuously expand computing node clusters for teachers and students' research innovation, explore the integrated application of emerging technologies, and inject sustained momentum into scientific and technological innovation at the Shenzhen Graduate School.
