Tenured Associate Professor (Principal Investigator), Doctoral Supervisor, and Chief Scientist of Shenzhen Yigen Technology. His main research focuses on AI-driven cross-scale simulation and material design, as well as simulation and design of new energy battery materials. To date, he has published over 160 SCI papers in academic journals such asNature/Nature Energy/Nature Communications,National Science Review,Chem,Accounts of Chemical Research/Journal of the American Chemical Society/Nano Letters/Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters/ACS Energy Letters,PRX Energy/Physical Review Materials,Advanced Materials/Advanced Energy Materials/Advanced Science/Small, etc. (with over 70 papers as first author or corresponding author). His works have been cited more than 14,000 times (Google Scholar), with an H-index of 59. He has presided over key/major program projects/general programs/young scientist programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as horizontal projects with CATL. He has also participated in 3 national key R&D programs. He has been awarded the First Prize of Shenzhen Natural Science Award, Shenzhen Youth Science and Technology Award, and Guangdong Special Support Program for Young Top Talents. He was consecutively selected into Stanford University’s list of World’s Top 2% Scientists from 2021 to 2024.
